We are more than overdue for a change in modern Western medicine. Rather than just focusing on how to mask symptoms that signal disease through the use of prescription pills, it is time to put more focus on the root causes of illness. This requires a total revolution in the current approach to health and wellness. Instead of attempting to solely treat symptoms, it is time to view the body as a whole—encompassing also the mind and spirit to work toward healing. Rather than simply try to “fix” ailing body parts piecemeal, this new approach aims to treat the whole person.

What if we started treating illness with nourishing food, fresh air, regular exercise, healthy relationships, a career we can be passionate about and uplifting spiritual practices?

My Holistic Approach to Health and Wellness

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

My approach is not to dwell on counting calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding. Together we’ll work to reach your health goals in areas such as maximizing energy, achieving optimal weight, reducing food cravings, improving mood and increasing sleep.
