      Wellness, Defined By You

I’m Renée Canada Wuerth. The Mind-Body Shift began as a way for me to make sense of what I was living in my own body while navigating complex, chronic health conditions within a fragmented medical system. That personal effort expanded into a deeper inquiry into how care is communicated, understood, and experienced—especially by those facing similar issues.
My work then led me to public health and modern scientific research, alongside a range of integrative and traditional healing frameworks that expanded how I think about health and what it means to live well, even in the presence of persistent physical challenges.
Through The Mind-Body Shift, I explore how people navigate life through periods of transition—attending to its realities while staying rooted in a sense of self not defined by diagnosis, role, or capacity. It is through our relationships with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us that meaning, hope and light can still be found—even when life unfolds in ways we do not choose.
